Disaster Declarations Approved For Severe Weather In Novemeber

Governor Mike Parson announced that President Joe Biden has approved his request for a major disaster declaration to help local governments and local non-profits in 14 counties in response to severe weather.

The declaration covers storms, tornadoes, and flooding  that happened in November and makes federal assistance available to help repair roads, bridges and other pieces of public infrastructure.

The counties in the President’s disaster declaration include: Carter, Crawford, Dent, Douglas, Howell, Oregon, Ozark, Phelps, Pulaski, Reynolds, Shannon, Texas, Washington, and Wright.
