Climax Springs Man Drowns

A 77-year-old from Climax Springs is dead after apparently drowning late Saturday afternoon at Lake of the Ozarks.

The highway patrol says it happened at a residence in the 12-hundred block of Sunset Shores when Robert Crider was discovered by his wife face down in the water by the docks.

Crider was taken to Lake Regional Hospital where was pronounced dead a short time later.
