Car Destroyed by Fire

A little unwanted excitement early Saturday afternoon when a car was reported in the parking lot on Cecil Street in Camdenton.

By the time firefighters arrived at the scene, the car was pretty much fully engulfed. Some reports indicated there may have been two small explosions with the fire. Personnel from the Mid-County Fire District were able to extinguish the blaze quickly.

There were no injuries reported.
