Camden County Sees Nearly 500 Calls During Holiday Weekend

By the time this past week came to an end on Saturday, the Camden County Sheriff’s Office reported 495 calls for service.

Dominating the week was 108 traffic stops initiated by the deputies who also responded to 23 reports of property crimes, 28 domestic violence calls and 15 calls for animal complaints and one animal bite.

For the week in Camden County, 23 people were also taken into custody and put on 24-hour holds while two people were put on 96-hour holds.
