American Legion To Host Octoberfest & Auction This Weekend

The Zack Wheat American Legion Auxilliary plays host to its October Fest and Silent Auction this weekend.

Auxiliary 2^nd Vice Christy Fischer says it’s a great event with all proceeds staying right here in the lake area.

“This is one of our fundraising efforts that we do every year. All of the money and the proceeds that we raise through the Auxiliary stays right here in our community to support our local veterans and our community.”

The October Fest and silent auction, at the Legion post in Sunrise Beach, begins at 11:30 on Saturday.
