Accident Sends Motorcycle Rider To The ER In Columbia

A Versailles man is seriously hurt when he was ejected from the motorcycle he was riding Tuesday night after it ran off Route-W north of Marvin Cutoff striking a mailbox, a road sign and a tree.

The highway patrol says 36-year-old Russell Jones was not wearing a helmet.

Jones was flown to University Hospital.
