Accident In Morgan County Injures One Person Who Now Faces A DWI Charge

An early-morning accident on Route-W near Inlet Drive in Morgan County results in serious injuries to a 41-year-old from Versailles.

The highway patrol says the pick-up driven by Jason Shifflett traveled off the edge of the roadway causing Shifflett to overcorrect sending the pickup back off the opposite side of the road where it overturned several times striking a tree.

Shifflett was not wearing a seat belt and was seriously hurt.

He was flown to University Hospital. Shifflett is also facing a DWI charge.
