Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey’s Office is partnering with the Missouri Farm Bureau in sending off a letter urging that the Federal Communications Commission return defaulted funding through the Rural Digital Opportunity Fund.
The letter follows the recent reveal that the Rural Digital Opportunity Fund will not connect 85,000 service locations for the expansion of broadband and rural internet access across the state.
The state also stands to lose out on some $177-million in federal investment.
The letter from Bailey’s Office and the Missouri Farm Bureau can be seen in its entirety on the attorney general’s website.
