Lake Ozark Fire Names New Chief

The Lake Ozark Fire District officially has a new chief in the position.

In a press released issued on Monday, the district announced the promotion of Deputy Chief Jerry Blomberg to the position which was actually effective about a week ago on the 5th.

Blomberg previously started his fire service career with the St. Elizabeth District in 1993, in Jefferson City in 1997.

New Chief Blomberg has also held a paramedic’s license for over 25 years.
