Flu Numbers On The Rise Across The Region

It may be one of the worst kept secrets but the number of influenza reports across the lake area and statewide continues to spike.

The latest numbers from the Weekly Influenza Surveillance Report and the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services show, for the week ending on the 1^st, Camden County had 107 active cases, 75 in Miller County, 17 in Benton County and six in Morgan County with the great majority of the cases being influenza-A.

Statewide, there are currently 10,223 active cases of influenza with the eastern region accounting for 3,698 of the cases.
