Kansas Man Being Extradited From Benton County In Child Case

A suspect who failed to appear on two counts of endangering the welfare of a child will soon be on his way back from Benton County to Johnson County, Kansas.

43-year-old Terry Houston Smith appeared in Benton County on Wednesday and signed a waiver of extradition and consent to return to Johnson County where his bond was set at $10,000.
