Over A Dozen Bills Pre-Filed Against Amendment 3 As Legislative Session Approaches

Despite Missourians approving Amendment-3 at the ballot boxes just over a month ago, some Missouri lawmakers are already taking aim at the voice of the people.

More than a dozen bills have been pre-filed between the House and Senate in response to the amendment being approved which protects access to abortion and officially went into effect Friday morning.

Among the bills pre-filed are some that call for Missourians to vote on new constitutional amendments including the possibility of basically repealing Amendment-3.

The 2025 regular General Assembly begins January 8^th and will end May 16^th.
