Ember From Burning Leaves on Friday Likely Start of Outbuilding Fire in Osage Beach

Osage Beach firefighters make quick work out of what was first reported over the weekend as a structure fire along Dempsey Drive.

Deputy Chief Steve Lucas says the call was received around 6:00 Saturday morning when a shed caught on fire. The shed and contents were not a total loss and there were no injuries reported.

Lucas also says, for future reference when burning leaves, take a few extra moments when you are done to thoroughly water down the area just to make sure there are no unwelcomed surprises.
