UPDATE STORY
The Camden County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed that a couple bones discovered in a vehicle being used by the Mid-County Fire District for a demonstration at the Lake Career and Technical Center in Camdenton were not human.
Sergeant Scott Hines says the discovery of bones, usually determined to be from an animal and not human, is more common than most people know.
The latest discovery at L-C-T-C was reported late Wednesday morning and probably made for some pretty interesting conversation for the students with their parents when they got home from school.
ORIGINAL STORY
The Camdenton Vo-Tech School may have stumbled onto a scene you’d watch on a TV crime show…the discovery of a couple bones in a car they were using for a class.\
The lesson apparently ended at that point with law enforcement responding to the scene to start investigating the discovery. At this time, there is no official information being released about whether it’s believed the bones are human or from an animal such as a deer or where the car came from.
KRMS News will pass along more information when released.
