Open Burning Not Recommended For A Few Days

No open burning is being recommended until further notice in the lake area.

“With the conditions overall. It’s still very dangerous to think about burning,” says Mid-County Deputy Chief Mark Amsinger.

He says even with a chance of rain tonight and during the overnight hours, it’s still not a good time to do any open burning.

Unseasonably warm temperatures are combing with the usual factors…low humidity and wind gusts…to make it a dangerous time for burning.
