Osage Beach Preparing For Ribbon Cutting Of New Dog Park

The City of Osage Beach is going to the dogs…or at least a 1.2 acre area of the city park.

Parks and Recreation Manager Eric Gregory says that the city teamed up with Lowe’s for what will be a new community dog park…complete with doggie amenities… which will make its official debut coming up during the annual Fall Festival on Saturday, October 12^th.

The Bark Park was constructed in large part from the $50,000 worth of donated materials through Lowe’s Hometown community grant program with support also from the Lowe’s in Lebanon and Jeff City.

Following the 11:00 ribbon cutting that day, a pet Halloween costume contest will happen.

No registration is required and prizes will be awarded.
