Osage Beach Preparing For Ribbon Cutting Of New Dog Park

The City of Osage Beach is going to the dogs…or at least a 1.2 acre area of the city park.

Parks and Recreation Manager Eric Gregory says that the city teamed up with Lowe’s for what will be a new community dog park…complete with doggie amenities… which will make its official debut coming up during the annual Fall Festival on Saturday, October 12th.

The Bark Park was constructed in large part from the $50,000 worth of donated materials through Lowe’s Hometown community grant program with support also from the Lowe’s in Lebanon and Jeff City.

Following the 11:00 ribbon cutting that day, a pet Halloween costume contest will happen.

No registration is required and prizes will be awarded.
