St. Louis Man Dies After Jumping Off I-70 Bridge Into Missouri River

A 23-year-old St. Louis man is dead after apparently being involved in an incident with law enforcement before jumping off the eastbound Interstate-70 Blanchette Bridge into the Missouri River.

That’s according to the highway patrol which says the body of Montez Patterson was found late Tuesday morning floating in the river near the 29.5 mile marker of the river.

Patterson’s body was taken to the medical examiner’s office.
