Record Attendance Reported At Annual Airshow

The weather couldn’t have been better as what is being called a record crowd of some 14,000 people converged Saturday for the annual air show at Camdenton Memorial-Lake Regional Airport.

Chamber Director KC Cloke says there’s little rest for the weary with planning already underway for next year’s event.

“The end of Saturday, as we were getting everything cleaned up, we were already taking notes. We’ve got a post committee meeting coming up later this week. We really like to meet immediately after the event while everything is fresh on our mind. Talk about the good, the bad, the ugly. What can we do better?”

Cloke does say, despite a shuttle being provided from off the airport property, that parking was one of the issues.

And with the event happening every two years, the next scheduled air show is expected to be on the calendar for Saturday, September 12^th, 2026.
