Washington Missouri Man Injured In Boating Accident

A Washington, Missouri, man is injured when the boat he was operating struck a large wave break at the 11-mile mark of the main channel in Camden County..

The highway patrol says it happened shortly before 10:45 Tuesday morning.

63-year-old Brian Eckelkamp suffered moderate injuries and was taken to Lake Regional Hospital.

Eckelkamp was wearing a life jacket at the time.
