Grant Awarded To Maries County Water District

The Missouri Department of Natural Resources has awarded a $30,000 Drinking Water Engineering Report Grant to the Public Water Supply District-1 in Maries County.

The grant, according to the DNR, is to allow the water district to evaluate its system and identify any needed improvements to meet drinking water quality standards.

The project is being funded wholly or in part with monies received by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.
