MO House Rep Elizabeth Long Has Passed Away At The Age Of 76

A former Missouri House of Representatives member and longtime Laclede County Clerk has passed away this week.

Elizabeth Long of Lebanon died on Monday at the age of 76.

Long served as Laclede County Clerk from 1983-1990 and had been the first woman elected to the position in the county.

She also served multiple terms in the House of Representatives, including one where she was elected in a special election, to fill the position of the late Paul Page, who had died while serving in the House back in November 1989.
