Salmon Recall Underway For Products Sold At Kroger Stores

If you’re a fan of Smoked Salmon you’ll want to hear about this recall.

Foppen Seafood is recalling its smoked salmon after routine tests detected listeria in the product.

It’s sold at Kroger and Pay Less Super Market stores in 15 states.

The FDA says the recall involves the company’s Smoked Norwegian Salmon Slices.

Foppen Seafood is based in the Netherlands.

The CDC says about 16-hundred Americans get listeriosis each year, and about 260 die from it.

The fish was sold in several states, including Arkansas, Illinois and Missouri.

Gerbes in Camdenton is a Kroger affiliated store.
