Barnett Man Killed In Laclede County Accident

A Barnett man is dead after an accident while driving a utility vehicle on Ottawa Drive, south of Route-J, in Laclede County.

The highway patrol says it happened around 1:00 Tuesday morning when 66-year-old Mark Wand crossed over the center before overcorrecting causing the utility vehicle to overturn.

Wand was not wearing a safety device. He was pronounced dead at the scene several hours later.
