MODOT In Battle With Mother Nature To Get Roadway Projects Completed

To say Mother Nature hasn’t been too cooperative with MoDOT lately may be a little bit of an understatement.

Central District Area Engineer Danny Roeger says, in the meantime, crews are out and about trying to take care of some widespread ditching activities.

“Erosions….pipes being clogged, driveway pipes…cross pipes being clogged and holding water. So our maintenance crews are out aggressively trying to tackle the drainage issues around the entire listening area, specifically up in Morgan County.”

Roeger also says some lingering work, weather permitting, continues on the Glaize Bridge in Osage Beach while pavement work is getting started on Route-7 between the Warsaw area and Greenview.
