Osage Beach OK’s ATV/UTV/Golf Carts On Certain Roads With Speed Limits

Those wanting to operate UTV’s and ATV’s in Osage Beach can now do so, with some limitations, on public roadways.

The board of aldermen, during a recent meeting, gave approval of the ordinance that allows off-highway and utility vehicles to be operated on roadways with speed limits of 45-miles-per-hour or less while golf carts will still be limited to roadways with speed limits of 30-miles-per-hour or less.

The ordinance also includes a total ban on golf carts, recreational off-highway and utility vehicles from being operated on highway-54 and requires the use of seat belts when using the vehicles.

The ordinance receive approval on both readings and is officially now in effect.
