A 34-year-old from Olean is charged with first-degree trafficking of drugs or attempt to traffic drugs after allegedly admitting to selling an unidentified female 10 capsules containing fentanyl.
That’s according to the probable cause statement filed in Miller County which also indicates Dalton Bailey was stopped for traffic violations on Hwy-54 at Kent Road during the early evening hours on February 12th.
During the stop, Bailey reportedly gave consent to searches of his person and the truck he was driving.
During the searches, a total of 36 capsules were discovered and field tested revealing the presence of fentanyl and weighing just over five grams.
As of Tuesday night, it was unknown whether Bailey was in custody.
A warrant has been issued with bond set at $100,000.
