Five Osage Beach Search & Rescue Members Complete Initial SARTECH Certifications

Five members of the Osage Beach Fire District’s “search and rescue” team reach a lofty milestone this past weekend to set the foundation for future responses.

Fire Chief Paul Berardi says the five successfully completed the initial phase of the NASAR SARTECH-2 certification which involved classroom education.

Up next is a written exam to be followed by a comprehensive series of field exercises culminating in a final certification.
