Monday Football Report For Local, State & National Games

We are now six weeks into the high school football season.

Another impressive win by Camdenton.

On Friday they go to Bolivar, knock off the liberators 34 to 15.

How about school of the Osage? They blank a very good Hallsville team 23 to nothing.

That Hallsville team scored 50 a week ago against Eldon.

The Mustangs fall this week to Southern Boone 75 to 49.

The Mustangs have scored over 100 points over the last two weeks and don’t have a win to show for it.

Meanwhile Versailles, they lose at Clinton 27 to 23.

Locally here’s how our High School Teams across the Lake Region faired:

Wins:

Camdenton over Bolivar, 34 to 15

School of the Osage over Hallsville, 23 to 0

Lebanon over Glendale, 44 to 21

Warsaw over El Dorado Springs, 37 to 8

Waynesville over Hillcrest, 48 to 7

Losses:

Versailles falls to Clinton, 23 to 27

Eldon falls to Southern Boone, 29 to 75

Cole Camp falls to Crest Ridge, 16 to 50

Note: Lincoln did not play this past weekend.

Chiefs:

Sunday night football last night wasn’t always pretty but the Chiefs hang on to beat the host New York Jets by a score of 23 to 20.

Mizzou:

Mizzou football they are 5 -0. They go to Nashville and beat Vanderbilt 38 to 21.

The Tigers move up to number 21 in the latest AP poll and they will welcome in LSU this Saturday.
