Sunrise Beach Woman Accused Of Embezzlement Scheduled To Be In Court This Monday

A 46-year-old Sunrise Beach woman accused of embezzling at least $2.8-million from her former employer is scheduled to appear in court on Monday requesting that a bond be set.

Danielle Thomas most recently entered a not-guilty plea to one formal count each of felony stealing over $25-thousand or more and forgery indicating that she was retaining private counsel.

Danielle Thomas is accused of admitting to forging at least 367 checks and using the stolen money from the unidentified business for personal expenses.

Thomas is being held in the Camden County Jail.
