The “Jesters of Goodwill” continues making its mark in the lake area with children as the main focus of its charitable ways.
“Just last week, we made a delivery over at Hurricane Deck Elementary School in the Camdenton district. And that was a real landmark for us. It was the 1,000,000th dollar that we had spent helping children in nine years.”
Lake of the Ozarks Idiot’s Club co-founder Denny Hiner who, along with his wife Danna, founded the group also says that they had no idea how successful the group and its mission would be.
“When we first started, our thought was, if we could raise $4,000 to help kids at Camdenton, because that’s the district we started in, we’d be doing a good thing, and we’d be helping some kids.”
The Idiot’s Club was first founded in 2014 and continues strong with all volunteers and several scheduled activities. You can find out more about the Idiots on their webpage “lakeoftheozarksidiotsclub.org”
