Hillbilly Fair Parade Applications Are Now Being Accepted By Parks And Rec

Applications are being accepted for those who want to get in on the action of the 54^th Annual Hillbilly Parade in September.

The parade itself is set for Saturday, the 16^th, starting at 10:00 that morning and stretching from Central Bank on Hwy. 5 up to Fairgrounds Road and through the entrance to the fairgrounds.

The theme for this year’s parade is “A Salute to Our Heroes.”

Each entry wanting to pass out candy, flyers or anything else will need to have walkers hoofing it along the route with their entries.

Applications to be part of the Hillbilly Fair Parade are available from the Parks and Recreation Office at Laurie City Hall.
