Deer Causes Motorcycle Crash In Morgan County

A late-night deer-versus-motorcycle encounter sends a 34-year-old Florence man to the emergency room with moderate injuries.

The highway patrol report says that it happened on Route-135 north of Fox Trot Road in Morgan County.

Edgar Ortega was not wearing a helmet and was ejected from the motorcycle after it struck the deer.

Ortega was treated for his injurie at a hospital in Sedalia.
