Ozark Child Dies At KC Hospital Following Near Drowning At Table Rock Lake

A 2-year-old girl from Ozark taken to a Kansas City hospital after nearly drowning in Table Rock Lake in Stone County early Monday evening loses her fight for life.

The water patrol division of the highway patrol says the unidentified youngster was not wearing a flotation device when she, somehow, was able to get into the water.

The two-year-old had been in the pediatric I-C-U until being pronounced dead Wednesday morning.
