UPDATED:

More information has been released following the drug-related arrests of two Kaiser residents earlier this week in Miller County.

Sheriff Louie Gregoire says deputies teamed up with a detective from the Mid-Missouri Drug Task Force to conduct a traffic stop Monday afternoon on westbound-54 near Eldon.

Probable cause was established leading to a search of the vehicle resulting in psilocybin mushrooms and drug paraphernalia being seized.

Taken into custody were Bryant Davis and Donna Davis. While at the jail, Mister Davis allegedly attempted to dispose of a baggy containing about one-thousand counterfeit Percocet pills which contained fentanyl.

He is charged with delivery and possession of a controlled substance while Miss Davis is charged with two counts of possession.

They have both, since, been released after posting $50-thousand bonds each.
