Three Injured In Miller County Crash

Three people are injured in a one-vehicle accident on westbound-54 near Riley Mead Lane in Miller County.

The highway patrol says it happened late Saturday morning when 20-year-old Nishianna Thorp, of Rocky Mount, lost control while trying to change lanes sending the vehicle off the roadway before hitting an embankment.

Thorp and two passengers, 24-year-old Joseph Wood and 27-year-old Jada Ahsam both from Eldon, suffered minor injuries and were treated at Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach.

All three had been wearing seat belts at the time.
