The Missouri Department of Economic Development is asking for public feedback on its proposed Cell Towers Grant Program.
The $20-million program is funded via the state’s share from the American Rescue Plan Act.
It’s intended to help improve accessibility for those without access to quality cellular service in areas that are lacking with priority given to projects on public lands.
The D-E-D has a Public Input Survey with the feedback to be used to create the Cell Towers Grant Program Guidelines.
The public input period is now open with the survey available on the D-E-D’s website until 5-PM on April 1st.
