Lake Ozark BOA Looks To Adopt Resolution For Support For Osage River Casino

What appears to be a lengthy but fairly routine agenda awaits the Lake Ozark Board of Aldermen which will meet on Tuesday of this week.

Among the items appearing on the published agenda include: a resolution recognizing the Bagnell Dam Board of Realtors 50th anniversary, accepting a grant from MoDOT’s highway safety and traffic division for a springtime DWI enforcement campaign.

The board is also adopting a resolution of support for a house measure in the General Assembly seeking voter approval for a gambling boat on the Osage River, and a bill to acknowledge and show appreciation for donations made to city entities by the Osage Nation which is planning to bring a non-state operated gambling boat to the city.

The Lake Ozark Board of Aldermen meeting, Tuesday night in city hall, begins at 6:00.
