LOTO BSA Fundraiser Returns To Margaritaville Resort With Chiefs Mascot

Mark your calendars now for Wednesday, March 8th, which will be a big day here at the lake for Scouts-B-S-A.

Great Rivers Council District Executive Chris Harper says Dan Meers, the official mascot for the world champion Kansas City Chiefs, will be the headliner for the fundraising gathering at Margaritaville Lake Resort.

“MVP Patrick Mahomes went to Disney Land but KC Wolf is coming to the Lake of the Ozarks! And with that, it opens an opportunity for us to kick off our scouting and fundraising year. Obviously being a non-profit, we need some monies too…so this is our fundraising event for the Lake Area scouting youth and our Lake of the Ozarks scouting reservation.”

The program is open to the public and will begin with lunch at 12-noon followed by the main program beginning at 12:20.
