St. Louis Woman Dead Following Sunday Evening Crash

A St. Louis woman is dead after a two-vehicle accident early Sunday evening along U.S. 50 eastbound near old Highway-50 in Morgan County.

The highway patrol says it happened when the vehicle driven by 20-year-old Bridgett Burgoon went out of control on the slick covered roadway before spinning into the path of a westbound vehicle driven by 43-year-old Chad Guendelsberger, of Weston.

Burgoon was taken to St. Mary’s in Jefferson City where she was pronounced dead while Guendelsberger was treated for minor injuries at a hospital in Sedalia.
