Pharmacy hours are changing nationwide at certain CVS and Wal-Mart locations.
According to the companies, they’re reducing hours amid a staff shortage in the industry.
Starting this March, Wal-Mart pharmacies will close up to 2 hours earlier than usual and CVS plans to either shift or cut hours at 6,000 locations.
Similar changes have already been made at Walgreens and even some of the Lake Area pharmacies are feeling the pinch.
The National Community Pharmacists Association says that more than three-quarters of pharmacies in the U.S. are report staffing difficulties at this time.
