Miller Sheriff’s Deputies Receive New Armor Thanks To Grant

Deputies in the Miller County Sheriff’s office are getting an upgrade for safety.

Sheriff Louie Gregoire tells KRMS NEWS the department recently received a grant funding to help purchase custom fitting armor for each deputy.

These pieces of armor come from the Leon Uniform Company, who worked with the department to fit each deputy properly.

Gregoire says it’s the department’s policy that all deputies wear the armor while in unform and on duty in the county.
