One person is injured and another being held without bond following a two-vehicle accident late Monday morning on Highway-42 just east of Kaiser Industrial Drive.
The highway patrol says 43-year-old Sidney Horseman, of Kaiser, struck a towed unit being pulled by 59-year-old Brian Newlin, of Osage Beach.
Horseman’s vehicle then ran off the road striking a sign before crossing back over and leaving the opposite side of the road.
Horseman’s passenger, 57-year-old Carolyn Sides, of Camdenton, suffered minor injuries and was taken to Lake Regional.
Horseman, on the other hand, was taken to the Miller County Jail where he faces pending charges of leaving the scene of an accident, resisting arrest and a parole violation.
