Candy Throwing To Return To Parade Events In Lake Ozark

Officials in Lake Ozark are expected to do a 1-80 this week and return to the days of candy throwing being allowed from vehicles involved in sanctioned parades within the city.

A second reading on the proposed ordinance amending a current ordinance prohibiting the action is just one of several items in old and new business for the board of aldermen to consider.

The board will also go through the motions for the swearing-in of Jeff Christiansen.

Christiansen was appointed during a special meeting last week to fill the position of police chief.

The Lake Ozark Board of Aldermen meeting, Tuesday, begins at 6:00 in city hall.
